Ballistic BBQ Outdoor Cooking Recipe Trailer

Ready for some tasty Ballistic BBQ outdoor cooking? We promise these recipes from Ballistic BBQ host and grilling expert Greg Mrvich will keep your guests asking for more. For instance, who can resist mouthwatering mango pineapple ribs or Wagyu brisket? Or a yummy twist on a classic like the June Bug burger with a special bacon-fig sauce? Or even island-style BBQ ribs? Here are the basics of what Mrvich has to offer, but check out Backyard Life “recipes” for his complete ingredient, prep and cook tutorials.

Grilling Ribs

We all know ribs can be tricky, right? That’s why Mrvich walks you through the steps that’ll ensure you get them right. Before prepping your ribs, he suggests creating a glaze consisting of kosher salt, grated ginger, paprika, a mango pineapple spread and ginger beer. Once your glaze is complete, trim away the ribs’ back side layer of skin and add a little salt and pepper before smoking them. Then, just bast them with your pineapple ginger glaze as they cook.

Brisket

We know that prepping brisket properly can be intimidating, too, which is why Mrvich is here to help. For starters, prep your brisket with a little salt before putting them on the smoker/grill to cook. Then, take it off the grill and wrap it in foil before placing it back on the for a bit longer.

Coffee-Rubbed Cowboy Steaks

Who doesn’t love a grilled steak prepped with a rub? Let alone a coffee-rubbed cowboy steak! In Mrvich’s special recipe, he suggests sprinkling the steak with a mix of finely ground coffee, granulated garlic, ground pepper, kosher salt, paprika and cayenne pepper, before putting it on the grill.

June Bug Burger

If you want to start with a fallback classic, try the June Bug Burger. In a skillet, Mrvich suggests creating a sautee of bacon, chopped onions, minced Fresno and fig-jam. Stir these ingredients together while toasting the hamburger buns. At the same time, sprinkle a little kosher salt on the patties and place them onto the grill. Don’t forget to flip ’em and add cheese. When everything is cooked, place arugula on the bun first. Follow this with two cheeseburger patties topped off with the bacon-fig sauce. Are you hungry yet?
